Fusion have supported our academy several times with occupational health issues. The most recent was a management referral for an employee who is struggling with a health issue. Fusion sent out a very clear referral form that asked exactly what we wanted to know about the employee’s illness and fitness for work. The resulting report included very detailed information about the illness and suggestions for adjustments in work patterns to accommodate a speedy recovery for the employee with minimum disruption to our organisation. The outcome for us has been that our employee is back at work for a partial timetable and adjusted duties – which is very helpful.
It’s essential as a National Tour Operator that we maintain our CHAS accreditation. Fusion have helped us gain our CHAS status each year and more importantly made sure we are compliant with all the Health & Safety Regulations that we need to be. We have an annual review to make sure that we have everything covered and up-to-date and then they’re always at the end of the phone if we need them. The support Fusion provides means we don’t have to worry about regulations and they’ll always keep us up-to-date with any changes that might impact us. H & S Policies, Method Statements, Risk Assessments are all taken care of and the advice is simple to understand and follow. It’s a weight off our minds.
HR is a minefield. Monitoring everything is difficult and my time needs to be spent developing the business. I love the way FusionHR work and I’ve just extended my contract to include all administration work as well as HR support. They provide really good practical advice and nothing is too much trouble. They present me with a solution not an issue. The H&S Policy, Arrangements, Method Statements and Risk Assessments have been annually reviewed and we have got through our CHAS application with ease. Fusion delivered training for governors and management on disciplinary procedures, a potentially dry subject but everyone found it both informative and entertaining! The presentation was clear using real situations, the facilitator engaged the audience with her style of presentation and the way she involved the governors. She left governors and management feeling confident in their understanding of the procedures and feeling it had been precious time well spent.
I can vouch for FusionHR in effectively supporting school in all aspects of human resources. We have found them to be extremely efficient and effective in meeting our very individual schools needs. Over this past year we have updated policy and procedures and we have valued the advice and support given to the staff as a whole when making changes to improve our own school systems. Having all aspects of HR relating to staff online makes it easy to set up new starters and to track a member of staff’s history of employment. The online system is easy to follow and is very efficient. We have valued the training given by Fusion which has been tailor made to suit our schools training needs. For example, all SLT received training on the new appraisal procedures and whole staff training on Managing Staff Attendance have taken place.
