We’ve been busy over the Summer updating document downloads and reviewing policies. We’ve amended documents to reflect the change to Keeping Children Safe in Education. We’ve updated most of the School document downloads and continue to review the remaining. We have a new suite of policies for Multi-Academy Trusts going live soon and all business downloads have been reviewed. So, make sure you take a good look around the document downloads area, they are there to help.
We’ve also revamped our website to enhance the training functionality. You can now search by category as well as by title and both our new training brochures are live on the website to download. Just click here to access the brochures for schools and businesses.
You will also notice we have a new team page. We wanted something to better reflect our personality and be a bit more fun. Please do take a look when you get chance.
We’re also working on new quick guides to key topics, 90 second video updates and animations to further enhance the resources available for Fusion clients. Watch out for further updates on our new resource centre which is coming soon.
We are launching a new forum for Leeds School Managers to provide a best practice sharing platform. It’s something that clients have said they would value and it’s our way of giving something back to the local community. While we are the hosts, we will have seven super users from primary and secondary schools, who will be there to provide advice and facilitate discussions. Some are clients, some are not to provide a fair approach for all. You can find out more at www.lsmf.org.uk. We would also like to say thank you to our super users for their help.
We are also going to be expanding our recruitment services to cover senior and HR roles in schools. We will be sending out more information about this shortly and updating the website, so watch this space.
Over the Summer we have also had a few team changes. Joanne Thorley has decided to take on a new challenge in a different sector and while we wish Jo all the success in the world we will miss her! With outgoings also come incomings. We have a new software developer joining the team in September, so welcome to Rob Copley. Our Data Protection Officer Ben Cain will be supporting the Field Team over the next term and we have recruited an old face to join us to focus on recruitment. Jemma Fitton will be re-joining the team at the end of the month. We look forward to introducing the new recruits in the next newsletter.
